Coordination is defined as the management of interdependencies of activities. This paper proposes a framework for supply chain coordination and optimization by applying agent technology. The researchaims to automate the coordination and optimize the decision-making tasks of a supply chain. A prototype and the process flow in a typical supply chain is also presented in the paper.
